An Irish chef living in Japan and has just landed two Guinness World Records, for cooking and baking marathons. Alan Fisher, a chef originally from Dundalk in Co Louth, is the new Guinness World Record holder for both the longest cooking marathon (individual) and the longest baking marathon (individual). Fisher claimed the longest baking marathon (individual) with a time of 47 hours and 21 minutes.
