A fifth of those booked for vaccines in Drogheda were no shows yesterday. Local TD Imelda Munster, Sinn Fein TD for Louth/East Meath says it’s a waste. Over a fifth of people booked to get a Covid-19 vaccine in Drogheda on Tuesday were 'no-shows'. 89 of those due for the jab did not arrive or inform the HSE they wouldn't be attending. That’s out of 412 scheduld appointments. Henry McKean asked the people of Drogheda why are people not showing up? Is it anxiety? Is it vaccination hesitation? Should no shows be sent to the back of the queue? And should we follow the US and offer insensitives like free hamburgers?
