The G7 nations have agreed to ban the importation of Russian diamonds from the beginning of 2024.  

While it’s an effort to curb Russia’s funding for the war in Ukraine, it’s unlikely to have a huge financial impact because of their links to Dubai and China.  

So what’s happening in the diamond trade? Have the African nations gotten a handle on the issues there?
