While many humans were wooing their partners for Valentine’s day yesterday, you might have heard the call of frogs.  

Yes, the mating season for the common frog has coincided with Valentine’s day for the last few years, but their mating rituals means both male and female frogs are more exposed and vulnerable than usual.
