The common conception of hunter gatherers places the men in the “hunter” role and women in the “gatherer” group. 

But is this how it was or are we merely projecting our gender biases on to the past?

Dr. James Watson is Associate Professor of Anthropology at The University of Arizona and co-author of a new study on hunters in ancient Peru.
