This day 12 months ago videos appeared online of empty shelves in supermarkets across the country, when Taoiseach Leo Varadkar announced a 2 week lockdown due to Covid-19.

But what was it like to be working in the supermarkets at the time and how has the last year been?

Andrea spoke to Ger Lynch who is the store manager of Tesco in Edenderry in county Offaly, Steve Maher who is a Delivery Driver for Tesco and Laura Murray who is a general assistant for Tesco in Liffey Valley in Dublin.
