Supervised drug injection centres are being considered in Limerick if the pilot programme currently running in Dublin is a success.

Some people believe that these centres would be an important tool in reducing drug harm, while Councillor Daniel Butler says that he doesn’t see such centres as a priority for Limerick right now.

To discuss, Andrea is joined by Elisa O’Donovan, Limerick local councillor and resident in the city centre and Michael Guerin, Senior Addiction Therapist at the Cuan Mhuire.
