One young Irish beauty queen has said that filters, make up and social media are putting pressure on young Irish women by pushing unrealistic beauty standards. 

Miss Dublin, Ciara Whelan hopes that by sharing pictures online that haven’t been edited and in which she goes makeup free will help stop young Irish women picking themselves apart over their appearance.
