Last night, round one of the US presidential debates kicked off on CNN – and it was viewed as often-uncomfortable viewing.

Joe Biden's performance at the  debate has been described as a "slow motion car crash" by members of his own party. Meanwhile, Donald Trump told over 30 lies during the debate according to fact checkers.
