new survey has revealed that over 40% of commuters would take a pay cut to work closer to home.  The survey, being conducted by Kildare and Meath county councils finds the average travel time to work in those two counties was one hour and nine minutes.  It also means a lot of early mornings – over half of male commuters and 45% of females leave before 7am. 16% of men and 8% of women leave before 6am.
