Speed limits will be cut to 30km/h in “all residential areas” across Dublin city under new traffic laws which are due to come into force next year. 

The council has been working for more than a decade to reduce speed limits on most roads throughout the city and suburbs.  

The limit is expected to be introduced in three phases by next year.  Editor of completecar.ie Shane O’Donoghue joined Ciara on the show to discuss.
