Ireland’s own Pico Lopes will take on one of the world’s greatest footballers of all time tomorrow in the last 32 of the Fifa World Cup.

He will play against Messi when Cape Verde take on World Cup winners, Argentina, on Friday night.

With the match one of great importance, Aer Lingus has offered to fly Pico Lopez’s family out to the match.
