Pub owners in Lanzarote have confirmed there was an influx of Irish tourists visiting over Christmas and New Year's.

It comes as almost half of arrivals at Dublin Airport yesterday were coming from holiday destinations, the Taoiseach has told a meeting of his party's last night.

Amy O’Dowd from Murphy’s Irish Pub in Lanzarote and many callers joined Claire on the show with their views.
