Over the past few weeks we’ve spoken extensively about endometriosis and the long waiting lists for gynaecology appointments. Sinn Féin TD Sorca Clarke has obtained a parliamentary question response that shows there were 30,805 people waiting for an outpatient appointment for gynaecology services at the end of January 2022.

There are 5,218 people waiting for an inpatient appointment – taking the total to over 36,000.
