Is social media a place for politics? It’s a topic that came up here in February with our own General Election – with Irish celebs throwing their backing behind the likes of Leo Varadkar and Mary Lou McDonald. However, in the US there are calls for so-called ‘influencers’ to stop posting about the presidential election, as they do not face the same regulations as traditional media. Do you think the same rules should be implemented here in Ireland? Andrea discusses with influencers James Kavanagh and Louise Cooney.
