A solidarity event is to be held, after a church in Ballyfermot faced criticism for flying a pride flag. Ballyfermot Assumption Parish received criticism & had to remove the flag after sharing a picture on social media.

Organisers of a solidarity vigil for the church say the event will show there is no place for homophobia and bigotry in Ireland.
