According to a national study on domestic abuse by Watson & Parsons in 2005, one in three people experiencing abuse in Ireland is male.
While 29% of women suffering abuse seek help - only 5% of men do.

But why is this the case?

Why is there such a disparity between men and women?

Ciara is joined by psychologist, author and chairman of support group 'Anyman', Owen Connolly, as well as those with first-hand-experience to discuss.
