Listener email - '..I have a child and he – like other children -  drops his food on the ground, but I will always clean up after him....However - I notice when I’m working (in a restaurant) around 50 percent of parents leave all kinds of scraps, paper, crisps, soggy biscuits, bread crusts and you name it on the floor and do not even attempt to clean it.  Most will offer a kind of half apology as they are leaving but a lot don’t, and you can forget about even a tip in most cases.'
