US President Donald Trump has vowed to order a military crackdown on protests in the United States, saying he’d send troops onto the streets of Washington DC, and threatening to deploy soldiers to states unable to regain control. This comes a week after the death in Minneapolis of George Floyd, an unarmed black man who had been pinned down with a knee to the neck by a police officer - leading to the worst civil unrest in decades. Thousands of people marched through Dublin city centre yesterday as part of a peaceful protest against the killing. How do you feel about what’s happening in the US at the moment? Did you go to the protests yesterday? Do you think this is a good time to open up a conversation about racism in Ireland? Ciara chats to listeners
