All day on Newstalk we have been hearing from commuters and drivers stuck in traffic because of Garda checkpoints. Operation Fanacht was launched nationwide this morning in 132 locations across the country. From Kerry to Kildare people have been asked to stay in their county and to avoid unnecessary journeys.
