Two horses roaming Dorset Street have been seized by Gardai. Both were left unattended on the Royal Canal at Drumcondra on Friday. A vet has checked them out and one is believed to be unwell and either had microchips.

We have come a long way from our urban spaces being full of pet horses but have we come far enough?
