How are Irish independent book shops coping in the lockdown and what are people reading? People are trying to escape into a book, crime and thrillers are flying off the shelves. Book shops are trying to continue online and over the phone to survive. Sally Rooney's Normal People continues to sell well thanks to the BBC TV Series.
Henry McKean visited two independent books shops, the Gutter Bookshop in Templebar and Manor Books in Malahide Dublin .
