Mr Potato Head, the plastic changeable toy has gone gender neutral. The toy maker Hasbro said Mr Potato Head, which has been around for about 70 years, needed a modern makeover and will now become just Potato Head, but many have called the  decision “PC gone mad”. Henry McKean met Mr Potato Head fans of all ages and spoke to a toy shop to get reaction. The makers Hasboro have said “Hold that Tot — your main spud, MR. POTATO HEAD isn’t going anywhere!” the company said. “While it was announced today that the POTATO HEAD brand name & logo are dropping the ‘MR.’ I yam proud to confirm that MR. & MRS. POTATO HEAD aren’t going anywhere and will remain MR. & MRS. POTATO HEAD.”
