In this week's Futureproof Extra Podcast, Jonathan speaks to 'New Scientist' correspondent Debora MacKenzie about recent developments in Alzheimer's Disease research.

Together they discuss a specific bacteria found in the mouth and it's possible link to the development of Alzheimer's disease. It is hoped this new line of research will eventually lead to new treatments for this  debilitating disease.
