The abbreviation INED stands for “independent Non-Executive Director”. A non-executive director is a member of a company's board of directors who is not part of the executive team. A non-executive director typically does not engage in the day-to-day management of the organization but is involved in policymaking and planning exercises. For this week’s Industry Review Bobby was joined by 3 people who work in the Non-Executive Director sector.

Joining Bobby to discuss was:

  • Maura Quinn CEO of the Institute of Directors.
  • PJ Timmins MD of ‘The Alternative Board’.
  • Patrick Gibbons Independent Non-Executive Director & Audit & Risk Committee Chair.
