For this week’s Industry Review we are looking at the men and women who fed us during lockdown - the farmers of Ireland.

Between the pandemic, climate change targets, and EU caps, the last 2 years have been challenging for the agricultural sector to say the least.

So to look at the lay  of the land Bobby was joined by:

  • Joe Healy, President of the IFA.
  • Claire Power, Dairy Farmer from Carlow and founder of Ballybar Country Workware outfitters.
  • Thomas Duffy, Vice President of The European Council of Young Farmers and Dairy Farmer in Cavan.
