Cinema buffs will have been bereft without their fix of movies of late but its the cinema operators who will have really been feeling the pinch.

As we slowly get used to doing the activities we enjoyed pre-covid, cinemas up and down the country will be eager to welcome patrons back in through their doors.

For this week’s Industry review Bobby was joined by three cinema operators to see how see how they’re getting on.

Bobby was joined by:

  • Karl Geraghty, Head of Programming at the Stella Theatre, Rathmines
  • Charlene Lydon, Head of Programming across Volta, The Lighthouse, Palas in Galway
  • Mark Anderson, Director of Omniplex
