New levy for sustainable flood insurance fund proposed

Irish home owners could be asked to pay a new levy of €24 to address the country's flood insurance protection gap. 

The idea has been proposed by Insurance Ireland, in order to create what they’ve called a "sustainable flood insurance fund". With reaction to this proposal Claire was joined by Rose Conway Walsh, Sinn Féin TD for Mayo.
