Over the past 12 months, demand for help from the youth mental health service, Jigsaw, increased by 23%, reflecting a youth mental health crisis in Ireland.  Someone who herself reached out for help is Rachel White, and Rachel is now Campaigns Officer for Jigsaw. Rachel joined Claire this morning on the show.

Applegreen has announced youth mental health charity Jigsaw as its official charity partner for the next three years. They aim to raise €1million through various events and initiatives, including donating 1 cent to the charity for every transaction made at Applegreen at no cost to the customer. This donation is being increased to 2 cents per transaction for the month of February.
