Revolut claims to have 2 million customers in Ireland and the vast majority of them are under the age of 40. Now the Irish bank often slow to react to start-ups has agreed to create a new payments app that they hope will steal back market share from young customers.

It’s called SYNCH but the app won’t be called that. Charlie Weston is the Personal Finance Editor of the Irish Independent and joined Joe this morning on the show.
