Niall Horan told Chris Donoghue on Newstalk Breakfast that the upcoming Croke Park gigs are going to be ‘unbelievable’ and it has their whole crew talking about the size of the crowds that are expected.

“It’s very fun filled. We always try to have a laugh on stage and get the crowd involved.

Niall hasn’t been home since Christmas and is looking forward to seeing his family and having a little R&R when he gets back to Ireland on his whistle-stop tour.

“I think I will get a little bit of time at home, but half of Mullingar will be in Croke Park that night, so I will probably see everyone anyway”

Niall will turn 21 in just two weeks, and lamented on how stratospheric his career has gone in such a short time.

“We all sat down in the dressing room for a chat and last night, I introduced a song on stage “Don’t forget where you are from”  and thought about the fact that we’re all from tiny little places. At my age, it’s unreal. We are having a great time. We are after spending the last two weeks in South America, I never thought I would get to go to countries here"

Bandmate Liam Payne’s 21st falls just two week’s before Niall’s so the pair plan to have a joint party after they play the Rose Bowl in California

They might need to watch out for over zealous fans though, as the Mullingar singer told Chris about the lengths they go to trying to get near to their idols

“We found a girl in a bin one time – in a skip in the bck of a hoitel trying to sneak in before. There have been a lot of car chases - In the weirdest way, you get used to it.”

Niall will be taking time out of his hectic touring schedule for The Inaugural “Niall Horan Charity Football Challenge “ which will take place in the King Power Stadium, home of Leicester City Football Club on Monday 26th of May 2014.    All proceeds from this classic football match which will kick off at 3pm will go to Mullingar based charity, Irish Autism Action (IAA), UK charity Heart and Minds Challenge and Leicester City Foxes Foundation.
