A new report being published today will show nurses across the country experiencing high levels of workplace bullying in the sector.
The allegations are contained in a new survey by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
It's understood the report will say those who took part reported significant levels of bullying and that it's affected their personal and professional lives.
It follows a similar study in 2010.
