The IMPACT trade union says talks on pay in the public sector have not gotten down to the nitty gritty of pay restoration yet.
Yesterday, Minister Alan Kelly warned unions they must be realistic in their expectations for pay increases.
Meaningful talks began on the matter began on Wednesday and will resume today.

The talks have been described as being 'on schedule', meaning a deal could emerge a week from today.

He told Newstalk Breakfast they are focusing on drafting a document on working arrangements, before hitting pay next week.
