For the bank holiday Monday Paper Review, Shane Coleman was joined by Carol Hunt, columnist with the Sunday Independent.

The issue of Dáil privilege and Catherine Murphy's claims about buisnessman Denis O'Brien's banking arrangements with IBRC continue to dominate the papers today, and Shane went through some of today's headlines. The tragic death of a young football player is also covered in the papers.

In lighter news, Shane and Carol discussed the subject of celebrities turning up at weddings, and the high price of wine (and what the Government is earning on every bottle).

Carol highlighted a story about Judi Dench covering herself in lobster, in order to promote sustainable fishing - "obviously the first thing you'd think of if you saw a naked Judi Dench covered in lobsters".

The papers also covered figures that show the rate of smoking in Ireland is falling, and the revelation that Louis Walsh will not be appearing in the new series of a popular reality show.
