If you're on the hunt for a nice gift for the tech fan in your life, look no further. Here are some ideas that would look great under any Christmas tree.

Less than €40

Chromecast  // €39 // DID, Powercity, Harvey Norman, Currys

This is a simple, but fantastic piece of technology. The Chromecast plugs into a HDMI port on a TV and allows the user to stream content from their phone onto the big screen. This includes photos, music from Spotify, TV and movies from Netflix and so much more. If the person you're buying for doesn't own a Smart TV, this is the way to go!

Trust 4400MaH Power Bank // €24.90 // Harvey Norman

I rarely leave home without at least one portable charger and have found this model to be fantastic. This is an ideal stocking stuff or a cool Kris Kringle gift. It's a great size for throwing into your bag or pocket.

Jam Classic // €24.90 // Harvey Norman

The sound quality of this tiny speaker should not be underestimated. While it's a neat device, it can pack a powerful punch in terms of audio performance. It can pair to a device via a cable or Bluetooth. It's portable enough to bring out and about, but impressive enough to have as a stand-alone item around the house.

Tile KeyFinder Bluetooth Tracker // €26.99 // Argos

If you have a friend or family member that frequently misplaces their keys, buy them one of these. It doubles up as a gift for you too as you'll no longer have to pull the couch apart searching for the missing keys. This device is trackable, pinpointing exactly where the keys are.

Less than €120

Alba Tab // €119.99 // Argos

So many parents have tweeted and emailed me looking for a recommendation of a tablet for their child from Santa. There are so many different options out there, but the one that stands out to me for kids, in particular, is the Alba 10-inch 16GB tablet. It’s €120 and comes with two rubber covers, to protect it from any drops and falls.

Tefal Fry Delight 1450w Low Fat Fryer FX100040 // €99.95 // AppliancesDelivered.ie

We reviewed air fryers on the show about 2 years ago and I’m still a big fan of them. What’s good is that they’ve come right down in price. There’s a Tefal Fry Delight for €99.95 from Appliances Delivered.ie. It uses Air Pulse Technology to circulate the hot air and cook your food. Reducing or eliminating the amount of oil needed to cook.

If someone is looking to become a bit healthier in 2018, this could be a good way to go.

Nespresso 'U' coffee machine by Magimix // €103 // Debenhams

I am a big coffee drinker and so my Nespresso machine is a staple of my kitchen! This Nespresso U is a pod-based machine that has a 0.7L capacity. You simply fill up the water tank at the back, push in a pod and wait for the coffee. At €103, it’s a very good price indeed.
