The former chairman of IBRC Alan Dukes says the bank secured maximum recovery on all outstanding loans.
It follows claims by Deputy Catherine Murphy, under Dáil privilege, about the bank's arrangements with businessman Denis O'Brien.
Speaking to Newstalk Breakfast this morning, Alan Dukes said IBRC's remit was to recover as much as possible from all outstanding loans:
Independent TD Catherine Murphy yesterday insisted her sources are "very reliable" in relation to her claims, made under privilege in the Dáil last week.
However media outlets are prevented from reporting her remarks because of a High Court injunction.
