The Cabinet is meeting this morning, ahead of Tuesday's budget.
A number of issues have yet to be finalised - it's speculated a new batch of welfare cuts are on the cards, including cuts to gas, electricity and telephone allowances for pensioners and people with disabilities.
Meanwhile, the budget is expected to top the agenda at the Fine Gael National Conference which gets underway in Limerick later.
Political reform is also on the agenda - but the Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton says they'll be putting the failure of the Seanad Referendum behind them:
