Irish nanny Aisling Brady-McCarthy says she is considering legal action against US prosecutors.
The 37-year-old from Co Cavan was wrongly charged with the murder of a one-year-old baby who was in her care in 2013.
She spent two years in prison in the US, and is now back home in Ireland.
Ms Brady-McCarthy has told the Boston Globe newspaper she wants Dr Alice Newton - the doctor who first implicated her in the death of baby Rehma Sabir - Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and prosecutors who a judge found withheld exculpatory evidence held accountable.
She says she is planning to use the civil courts to expose what happened to her in a criminal court.
"They weren't just wrong in my case, they were reckless," she told the paper.
"And they never lost a minute's sleep. They just moved on to the next case. I want to expose this because I don't want it to happen to anyone else".
"I have no choice but to move on...I have changed. I don't trust people like I used to".
"I was a nanny. I'm not going to do that again", she added.
Elaine Whitfield-Sharp is the trial lawyer who defended British nanny Louise Woodward.
She told Newstalk Breakfast Ms Brady-McCarthy should go ahead with the action.
