A nine-year-old boy in South Korea was stuck in a toy vending machine for more than 20 minutes after climbing inside to reach a prize.
The boy, from Seoul, was walking to school this morning when he noticed the vending machine and after trying unsuccessfully to win a prize, reverted to breaking into the machine itself.
A nearby pedestrian noticed the boy, named Lee, inside the machine and immediately called the emergency services. While waiting for them to break the lock and release him, Lee was content to play with the toys, reports say.
Uninjured, he resumed playing with the toys once he was rescued, and was sent on his way to school.
"The boy is mischievous,” his school’s vice principal said.
