The finalists for this year's Women Mean Business Awards have been announced.

WMB says it will "shine a light on some incredible businesswoman" during their 13th annual conference & awards later this month.

More than 35 businesswomen have been nominated across five categories.

Rosemary Delaney, founder & publisher at WMB, said: “Ireland is ranked sixth in Europe when it comes to early stage female entrepreneurs and although the gap between genders in this regard is narrowing, at WMB we want to see parity when it comes to all things to do with Women Who Mean Business.

"For over a decade we have championed businesswomen and female entrepreneurs on the island of Ireland and although progress has been made, we’d like to see it happen at a faster pace."

The winners will be announced at the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin on Monday 30th September.
