Gardaí were called to a house in Sandyhill Gardens, Ballymun on Tuesday afternoon where they found the body of a deceased woman with physical injuries.  

The body was taken to Whitehall’s City Morgue where a post-mortem examination will be carried out by Chief State Pathologist Linda Mulligan. 

A family liaison officer has been appointed to make contact with the deceased’s relatives.
