A Status Orange wind warning has been issued for the entire west cost of the country this weekend.
Met Éireann said the warning is due to remain in place from 9am on Sunday to 6am on Monday.
Meanwhile, a Status Yellow warning will be in place over the rest of the country from 3pm on Sunday to 6am on Monday.

The forecaster said Storm Atiyah will track between Iceland and Ireland on Sunday whipping up a “swathe of very strong winds across the country.”
It said the storm will bring average wind speeds of up to 80kph with gusts of up 130kph to the west.
The rest of the country will see gusts of up to 100kph.
Meanwhile, there is a possibility of coastal flooding on the west coast due to a combination of high seas and storm surges.
