If you'd like to know more about Bank of Ireland's new Invested webinar series, read on.

Have you built up some savings over the past two years since the start of the pandemic? Research published by the Central Bank recently suggests that Irish households have collectively saved more than €11 billion since the start of the pandemic.

If you are in this cohort of people, have you thought about how to make that money grow? With the cost of living rising and interest rates remaining low, now is a really good time to consider investing some of your savings to ensure your financial wellbeing long term.

Are you interested but don't know where to start? Don't worry, Bank of Ireland has you covered with its new investment education webinar series – Invested – which kicked off last week (you can catch up here).

Invested in growing your savings?

Invested is a 3-part webinar series that takes you on a journey from understanding your money, to looking at your goals, and getting a plan to help you achieve the best outcome for you and your family. Bank of Ireland and its team of expert guests give you the insights and guidance to feel confident about understanding and venturing into the investing world.

The second instalment of the series will take place on May 25th at 10am. Entitled Eyes on the Prize: The Secrets of Successful Investing, the focus will be on the golden rules of investing and what behaviours influence how we achieve our investment goals. Host Bernard Walsh, Head of Pensions and Investments at Bank of Ireland will be joined by Dr Greg Davies, Head of Behavioural Finance at Oxford Risk for this informative session.

Missed out on the first webinar? Not to worry, the first episode of the series – The Why And How Of Investing: A Beginner’s Journey – looked at fundamental challenges of how to get your money growing when the cost of living is rising but interest rates remain low. You can watch the full webinar back here.

The final episode – How Many Eggs? And Which Baskets? Investing In Uncertain Times – will take place on June 29th where the discussion between Bernard Walsh and Eoin Fahy, Head of Responsible Investing at KBI Global Investments will be around how you can approach market volatility and what smart decisions you can make when faced with global uncertainty affecting your investments.

As well as informative webinars, Bank of Ireland offers  free supporting material to read in advance of each webinar, as well as the Essential Guide to Investing e-book for anyone who wants to learn more and brush up on their investment knowledge.
