Two men have died in separate road accidents in Co Wicklow.
A motorcyclist died when he and a second motorcyclist collided with a jeep at Poulaphuca in Blessington last night.
It happened on the N81 at around 9.15pm.
The man (33) was pronounced dead at scene, and his body was removed to Naas General Hospital where a post mortem will take place.
The second motorcyclist (49) was also taken to Naas General Hospital with serious injuries. While the female driver of the jeep (61) was taken to Tallaght Hospital with minor injuries.
And another man died after he fell from a horse-drawn cart on Red Lane in Kilmacanogue at around 8.15pm yesterday.
The man (44) was travelling on the cart when it appears he fell from it. He was taken by ambulance to St Vincent's University Hospital, where he later died.
Gardaí are appealing for witnessess to both incidents to come forward, or to contact the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111 or any garda station.
