Victoria Beckham has received some criticism for posting a photo with her daughter where she is kissing her on the mouth.
She posted the photo yesterday to celebrate her daughter, Harper's fifth birthday but it soon became more about what she was doing than a celebration of her child's life.

A number of Instagram users said that they found the image to be "disturbing" and took to the comment section to express their unease. One user wrote: ""Not a fan of kissing my kids on the lips... That's just me.”
Another said: "It's nice but you're not supposed to kiss your children on the lips."
Beckham has since removed most of the negative comments from the post and chosen to focus on the thousands of positive messages. The negative reactions to the image appear to have been overshadowed by the praise and support that Beckham has received.
Parents are even sharing their own versions of the photo with their kids in an effort to show just how typical the scene is.

BBC News asked social etiquette expert, Liz Brewer, what she thought about the controversy surrounding the image.
"Normally with a member of your family, you don't kiss on the lips unless it's your husband," she said. "With children, I wouldn't have thought it's a particularly good habit to get into but it's her child and she's at liberty to do what she thinks is best."
