The charity world is in turmoil over governance issues, but they face a bigger problem: the two philanthropic organisations that provide 86% of all charitable funding in Ireland are winding down.

With government cuts and individual donations dropping too, Ireland’s charities face a funding cliff. Who should save them? Individuals, or the government?
