There's no doubt that Ireland has a relationship with beer, whether it's to do with drinking it or producing it, but we're not the only ones.
A full on celebration of beer takes place every year at this time in the form of Oktoberfest, one that is increasingly being celebrated in a lot of different countries around the world, while there are plenty of places where they don't need an excuse to profess their love of porter, ale or lager.
But which one reigns above all others as the most beer-loving country? Using data from the World Health Organization, HealthGrove crunched the numbers to find the percentage of total alcohol consumption that constitutes beer in every country. They used the most recent data from 2010.
Despite our reputation, when it comes as a percentage of the total alcohol consumption, we can't even crack into the top 25 with our 48.1%, never mind the top 10, who are detailed below.
