Cigarettes, tobacco and a car have been seized in Co Wexford.

Earlier today, Revenue officers searched a home in Enniscorthy.

They seized over 7,800 unstamped cigarettes, 20kgs of tobacco and a car.

The cigarettes and tobacco have an estimated retail value of more than €16,500.

A Lithuanian man in his 40s was questioned by officers in connection with the seizure.

Revenue says their investigations are ongoing "with a view to a prosecution".
