It's been two weeks since the election, and the 33rd Dáil has met for the first time... but we could be waiting a while yet for a new government to be officially in place.

While government formation talks to continue to dominate the headlines, there was plenty of other news this week - from a 'ghost ship' that washed ashore on the west coast to the unveiling of a proposed major reform of the UK's immigration system.
