Early rain in the south and east will clear quickly and today will be a bright and dry day in most places, with variable cloud and good spells of sunshine.
Isolated passing light showers may follow to northwest counties.

Highest temperatures 16C to 20C – warmest in the south.
TONIGHT
Tonight will begin dry over much of the east.
Rain will arrive in the west before spreading to all areas as the night goes on.
The rain will be heavy across the north and northwest accompanied by low cloud and mist, but lighter elsewhere.
Southwest winds will be strong with gale gusts.
It will remain mild with lowest temperatures of 11C to 14C.
